It's Saturday in Mexico

Soon there will be a change in Angel Helpers... Raphael is due in Sunday as Tana will be returning home. Blessings & Love to both Tana & Raphael ~ you are beautiful souls and absolute sweethearts! A reflection of David himself :)

An update from Tana sent last eve, Fri 11/7:

Dear Family and Friends,

Yesterday and this morning were the most difficult for David thus far due to the increased pain in his neck muscles causing a headache. All of this pain kept him awake until 3:00 a.m. Since his neck has felt no relief from the pain medicine administered every 8 hours, Dr Munos made an appointment with a pain specialist for this morning at 11:00. David received a shot of anti-inflammatory medication directly into his neck. He should feel relief for several weeks and hopefully by then the muscles in his neck will not tense up again. I told David this afternoon that I think we just reached the top of a very difficult mountain climb today and I believe with all of the help and love and support he is receiving that we can start climbing down the other side of that mountain into a valley of peace, wholeness and wellbeing. It may still be a good hike and we can do it!

The doctor decided to bring David's treatments to our hotel room for the next several days until he is feeling better. It is a relief to not ride through the Tijuana traffic and somewhat bumpy roads for awhile.

On Monday, David will be getting a CT-Scan of his neck to make sure other vertebrae are not affected. The previous CT-Scan of David's head showed that there were no tumors in his brain... and that's when the problem in the top vertebrae was discovered. The doctors want to be thorough and will know more after Monday's test.

David says "Thank you everyone for your prayers. Just knowing you are all out there loving and visualizing me whole and healthy and complete help to provide the strength to hang in there. I love all of you. I look forward to celebrating with you someday in person."

My husband, Nathan is coming this evening to spend the weekend with me and David. He'll be picking up Raphael at the San Diego airport on Sunday. I'm wishing you all a wonderful weekend. Take good care of yourselves.

Love, Tana
