Raphael's time in Mexico came to a close today and David's friend Heather arrived! Thankful praises to Raphael and a warm welcome to Heather.

Heather's first day and she already provided an update:
Dear Beloved Friends & Family,
This is Heather, David's friend. I arrived today and relieved Raphael. I will be here in Mexico until the 26th when David's sister Leila arrives. Where David is staying is very comfortable and nice and feels very safe. The Santa Ana winds have been blowing warm all day.
After a crash course in IV drip bags from Raphael and later one of the visiting doctors, I spent most of the day putting 7 or 8 bags of different fluids and treatments into a port in David's upper chest. His spirits are up and he said he ate more today than he has in days, so that's good. It's also good that David has his new hospital bed (just in time) because it's allowing him multiple positions in which he can now eat because he had continued to lose weight.
As mentioned before his main chemo treatments are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays he does multiple drips which include vitamin C and K, selenium, chelation, and we will be getting the details on the rest in the next couple days. All of them are to support cleansing and strengthening the immune system and eliminating the cancer cells.
The pain in David's neck is still excruciating, more so if he sits up or gets up (which is rare), but he didn't take much pain medication today. He doesn't like that drip bag (I think he doesn't like the way the pain medication can make him feel nauseous and interfere with his eating).
We are looking to get an appointment on Tuesday for a cortisone shot in David's neck. The last local injection one week ago was an analgesic and anti-inflammatory and only provided relief for about three days.
David said thank you again for all your prayers and financial support. As far as donations, he is about half way to the $30,000 that he needs for the basic care. There are three fundraisers set up - to see updates on the website go to www.davidenglehealthfund.com. This blog is also a good resource for updates and fundraising event info.

David and Beloveds who are being with and holding David in the Light, I send my love and ask radiant guides and angels to weave all our prayers into a chrysalis of amazing, healing Light in which David can rest, heal, and be relieved of pain.
May your extended family of loved ones, which I know is huge, all feel great miracles here, especially the miracle of becoming whole and happy in your body, David. I pray that all who treat you and offer their touch and service are blessed and find their work with you stellar and successful.
You are in our hearts and in our prayers. I'll be doing my giving through the fundraisers and helping promote them.
Love and blessings,
Evalena
