Dear Family and Friends,
I hope this letter finds you all well. This is my last day here with David... I am so glad I was able to be here with him. This is the most challenging thing I have ever seen someone, who is young and has so much to give to this world, go through. It has been a blessing that we have had a much better couple of days. David finally feels up to listening to music so we've been playing wonderful songs throughout the day. Songs are so healing as they bring up many emotions. We have smiled and cried, felt happy and sad as we listen to all of the meanings in each song. One David has played many times is Don't Give Up by Peter Gabriel.
David says "Another day, and I am feeling better. It is so intense sometimes, I have felt like giving up. I hang on to hope, strength, love and the possibility of seeing you sometime soon. Where's my hot tub? We are one third of the way to collecting the funds that I need to get through this initial treatment. Here is the link if you know of anyone who would like to contribute, thank you."

My partner, Nathan is on his way to pick up Raphael at the airport and bring him back to David for this next week. Nathan and I will be heading home early this afternoon. I send my love to everyone. Take good care of your hearts and your family and friends.
Love, Tana
